Navarre Garden Club College Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to assist a college student from the Navarre area who continues to study in the environmental/horticultural field.
Navarre Garden Club
$1000 Scholarship Criteria
•Student must be a full-time college student from the Navarre area;
•Student must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher;
•Student must be a U.S. citizen and from the Navarre area;
•Student is to complete the Navarre Garden Club Scholarship Application form and mail it to:
Navarre High School Guidance Counselor, 8600 High School Road, Navarre FL 32566 or
Navarre Garden Club, P. O. Box 5606, Navarre, FL 32566
•Navarre Garden Club scholarship committee members will participate in selecting the scholarship recipient;
•Financial need will be considered;
•Student must be pursuing a degree, certificate program, or other award programs in an environmental/horticultural field and be enrolled in environmental studies or other appropriate classes for their goal;
•The scholarship will cover tuition, fees, and books only;
•Funds will be released to the college which the student attends and not to the student;
•Recipient will receive a one-year honorary membership in the Navarre Garden Club and is expected to attend a Navarre Garden Club meeting in the fall of their year of awarded scholarship for introduction to our members.
